Is Reference Number or DIN same in case of ASMT 10 or any other GST communication/notice to the taxpayer?

Both are different.
Ma'am is ASMT 10 without DIN valid?
Not valid but since they can also generate after issuing the notice relying on it as a basis of invalid notice is very weak
Not valid but they can take further proceedings if you didn't reply to ASMT-10
