a person not file his GST returns from the registration of gst till date and he was not raised any sale invoice hence the GST department raised notice for cancellation of registration with interest penalty around 1,19,550/- there no section mentioned on notice.
please help us for the same.

As per the Provision of Section 29(2) clause (c) of the CGST Act 2017, if a person fails to furnish his Return for a continuous period of six months, then his Registration is liable to be cancelled by the Proper Officer on suo-motto basis.
However before cancelling the Registration, the person is given an opportunity of being heard.
You can visit your Jurisdictional Office once regarding the penalty matter.
