GST interest payment notice u/s 50

We have received notice u/s 50 for payment of interest of Rs.21863. How do we make the payment? How is the interest to be bifurcated into CGST, SGST and IGST interest?

Thank you.

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how to pay an interest demand notice received under Section 50 of the GST Act. It clarifies that interest is bifurcated based on the tax liability split between CGST, SGST, and IGST. The advice suggests making payments via DRC-03 for past liabilities and through the normal challan for current year dues, aligning with the tax heads shown in late-filed returns.

Interest is bifurcated according to tax liability due into cgst, sgst, igst . payment in 2017,2018 made to Drc 03 and in current year in normal challen
Kindly check the Tax liability being created in the return which you filed late & accordingly deposit the late under the same head

DRC-03 under voluntary payment? Which section number? Thank you.
