Gst implication for e commerce suppliers

hi professionals ,

looking for an urgent help. so I work for an e-commerce company which deals with suppliers and buyers transaction dealing with healthcare, to resturants to groceries etc. now my question is most of the sellers that are there on my platform ar extremely small size sellers like beauty parlour ppl to roadside dhabawalas who don't even know what gst means forget registering and uploading return. so I will be losing out on my sellers bcos of this . please give a solution to this scenario please

Hi, As you know for taking GST registration minimum turnover is 20 Lakhs but you are e-commerce company and selling to your clients who have low business volume, therefore you will need to get yourself registered under GST as a seller and small scale shopper do not need reistration under GST and taxes which would arise of your sale should be paid by you instead to them.     

yes sir our company is registered under Gst, that is not an issue. but as per the rules even any small seller needs to be registered under gst

No, small seller upto Rs. 20 Lakhs are exempted from GST as a threshold exemption case, therefore, they do not need any registration.
