Gst hospital and its pharmacy

1. We know that the hospitals are exempt from GST. Do the hospitals need to file monthly GST returns?

2. The hospital and its pharmacy are owned by single propreitor under and paying taxes with same PAN number. What are its implications with regard to GST?

1. In case of only nil rated supply like only health care service......... no need to take registration under GST........ So, no liability to file monthly returns.

2. Yes, when pharmacy is also attached with same GSTIN, you are required to file return and declare the taxable and nil rated supply in the returns.....
