pls confirm if there any changes in exemption limit for gst registrationis announced by finance ministry yesterday. has it been changed from 20 lkh to 40 lakh. is it applicable on goods as well as services

GST registration Limit is 20 lakh (10 lakh for special category states).
But, For Suppliers exclusively dealing in Goods only have a higher threshold limit of Rs. 40 lakh subject to exception specified in Notification No.10/2019.
