BOTH CAN BE POSSIBLE
For example, where the consignment did not reach the destination at all as it was cancelled on the way, the recipient may reject the e-way bill.
E-way bill once generated cannot be modify or edit, yes can be cancelled by supplier within 24 hrs. , the same can be cancelled by recepient in 72 hrs
so if ur 24 validy is expired , then ask recepient to cancel it
