Can I claim GST credit at the time of filling my Tax Return for the Expenses I have made and paid GST to the vendors for my personal expenses. I .e. I have paid GST on purchase of Sofa set for my Home.
Can I claim credit for this GST paid to my sofa set vendor?

No. Input tax credit can be claimed only on such goods or services which are used in the furtherance of business. Moreover, input credit is not allowed on goods used for self consumption as per Section 17(5).
Moreover, since you are not registered under GST and from your query it can be assumed that you are just an individual consumer and not a supplier in the entire chain of supply, you cannot claim credit since in case of indirect tax entire burden is ultimately on consumers with no availabiliy of any credit.
