GST cancellation notice received

We submitted GST cancellation request. In lieu of that we have recd a notice stating - Please file with proper jurisdictional officer as pincode XX does not belong to this office.

Now how do we reply to this notice. We did not select any jurisdictional officer while filing cancellation application.

Apply for again for new cancellation request by selecting proper jurisdiction officer in which your place of business is situated

We do not select jurisdiction office while applying for cancellation. I think it automatically goes to the officer where registration is.

You have to file new cancellation application with correct jurisdiction office
