Is it necessary to file latest cmp- 08 return for cancel gst registration for composition dealer??? today is 04-01-2020. will cmp-08 required to file for Q3 (oct-dec) or can i fill effective date of cancellation as 30-09-2020???

You need to file all the returns before applying for Camcallation of registration

WHAT SHOULD BE THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION?? IF I APPLY TODAY, WILL I HAVE TO TAX FOR THE PERIOD OF 01-01-2021 TO 04-01-2021???
