GST cancel due to 40 lac

can a service provider avail exemption limit 40 lac?
and after surrender gst no can we make supply of inter-state or no
give me suggestion

because the 40 lac limit is applicable only in case of supply of GOODS (Not Service) & same is not Notified till date

it is mandatory for a person supply taxable good or service or both in case of composite supply to inter state supply GST registration is mandatory

40lakhs limit is only for dealer in goods not a service

Yes agree with pankaj Rawat but you can go to opt Composition scheme as servive providee can opt Composition scheme from 1st April, 2019 if turnover is up to 10% of Total Turnover or Rs. 50,00,000 whichever is higher with the rate of 6%(3% SGST +3% CGST)

Dear sir,
the turnover criteria of 10% is only for person dealing in services along with goods
and for them rate will be 1% and the amount is 5 lakhs not 50lakhs.

the above person dealing only in services
and for person who is specifically providing service can opt for composition scheme rate will be 6% and turnover limit is 50lakhs.

Sevice Provider giving only software developiing and maintaining service, after surrender gst number can he give service to outside state or not?

Dear Pritesh as per GST Council 32nd Meeting Following recommendations for Composition scheme for Service providers

Those suppliers rendering either independent services or providing a mixed supply of goods & services with a turnover of up to Rs 50 lakhs p.a in the preceding financial year, can join this scheme. The Tax rate is fixed at 6% (3% CGST +3% SGST).
Applicable From 1st April-2019
