Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies GST applicability on international trade transactions where goods are imported from one country and exported to another, with invoicing originating from India. According to Schedule III of the CGST Act, such transactions, often termed 'merchant trading', are not considered a supply if the goods do not enter India. Therefore, GST is generally not applicable as these activities fall outside the scope of the GST Act.

I am assuming the goods are not entering India and merely the invoice is being issued from India. As per Schedule III of CGST Act, Supply of goods from a place in the non-taxable territory to another place in the non-taxable territory without such goods entering into India are not considered to be a supply and hence GST need not be paid on such transactions.

If goods are not entering India then such purchase and sale is out side the scope of GST

It's is cover under Schedule III , it is neither supply of goods nor supply of services.
It's merchant trading.
May found it from IT return of the bill trader?
A bill trader not coming under this Act?
