Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies GST registration requirements when an individual operates multiple businesses. If one business exceeds the 40 lakh turnover threshold, registration is mandatory for that business. For businesses below the threshold, voluntary registration is an option. If the businesses are in the same line of trade and under the same proprietorship (PAN-based), a single GSTIN can cover all, merging their turnovers. However, if the businesses are distinct, the turnover of each business is considered independently for registration purposes.

Which is more than 40 lakhs that business should take registration
One registeration enough for same line of business !
Voluntary registration can be taken for below 40 lakhs turnover
