Dear friends..

I have some doubt regarding Group medical insurance.. please clarify..

what is the effect in books of employer..

since the medical insurance is taking for their employees. will employee can get deduction under section 80D.

Like any other expenditure the employer can claim the amount paid towards Group Medical insurance as expenses, it will be grouped under Employee benefits. Sec 80 D is applicable only to Individuals and HUF

the employee will not get any deduction u/s 80D.

This is exp. in company covered in FBt but no 80D deduction
