Gross receipt on room rent
Sir, I am facing confusion about Gross Receipt of Room Rent of Hotel or lodge is its coming under service tax liability.what about tax rate applicable Plz reply

Yes It is come under the service tax Hotels having room Tariff of Rs. 1000/
-
and above have to pay the Service Tax on 60% of Room Tariff
@ 14% (the net rate of Service Tax comes to 8.4%).
