There is a demand from some corners that an independent oversight board to be operative in INDIA tuned with international regulatory framework in the audit and accounting profession, somewhat in the same manner like SEBI, Competition Commission of India, etc...
It is to ensure better transparent functioning of these bodies to ensure interest of stakeholders and public at large
