In a village at TN trust registered under Coop Societies Act. is now formed to do canal and ponds cleaning work.
The State Govt. pays money to them. The total value of contract is around Rs.12 lacs only this year and will be around this figure only in future also. Whether GST registration is necessary since the value is below Rs. 20 lacs.
Though not mandatory...... but generally state government insist for registration no. before bill payment...
