I am providing works contract services to government and the govt are paying 80%of Bill and keeping 20%as amount towards gst tax
My query is whether I need to show in gst return now or not
you pay the GST computed on 80% of the amount received by you. As and when you receive the remaining 20%, GST should be discharged accordingly. According, you can show in the GSTR 1.
