Respected All, I am a registered Jewellers and I want to know that if I purchased old gold or silver jewelry from customer then gst is applicable ? And gst is not applicable then how much amount is gst free ? please clear it.

There is no gst applicable on purchasing of old ornaments of silver or gold. But when u will sale it on same or after some changes then gst will be applicable @ 3%. By the way GST rate @ 5 % is applicable on making charges.
