what is the gst rate on marble made God Statue???

applicable as per work contract
my doubt is .....if any manufacture make.tha statue and thn dealing in sale txn...means there are no work contract ...simple manufacturing and thn sale ??? thn what gst apply on it???

please go through the HSN code and rates for the products and know the rates of GST

The applicable HSN code will be 9703 which says "Original sculptures and statuary, in any material". This is is the clostest match and having the lowest GST rate of 12%.
The other codes are under 28% GST which make the marble god idols and statues highly expensive and unaffordable for common people at large.
Pl advice, shall we avaial ITC on the above idols of God, if that statue purchased to put in office/manufacturing premises.
