1. Can a Son-in-law give a gift to Mother-in-law under Income Tax Act?

2. Can a daughter give a gift to her mother?

Gift from a relative is fully Exempt
Gift from a non relative upto 50,000 no tax
waise son-in-law aur mother-in-law ka kamall ka relationship hai
yes you can in both the cases

Mr. Hemanth, Please clarify me whether the gift given by the son-in-law to mother-in-law is exempted u/s 56(2)?
