sec 101 read with sec 20 of Companies Act,2013

notice of meeting may be sent through
1. post or
2.registered post or
3.courier or
4. electronic mode

to any registered address within INDIA and in absence of registered address to any other address within INDIA.

Provided also that member may request company for despatch of notice through any other mode and company is liable to dispatch accordingly provided extra cost of dispatch has been submitted to company.

Company is not liable to dispatch notice to any address outside India even if member has paid extra cost of dispatch to company.
