Gaps in job profile

Dear Friends

Iam an PCC Student, after so many attempts i could not clear PCC. In this case, on completion of my 3.5 years of CA Articleship in 2010, i changed the line and wrote "CISA" (US Certification for IT Audit) twice and failed both times in margin marks. From completion of my Articleship til date i worked in couple of audit firms for 3 months and 4 months each. Currently, as on date i have total experience of 4 years & 3 months in audit field and 16 months gap for which i was unemployed. In that 16 months i was at studying for CISA and CA exams wrote couple of attempts each and lost unfortunately. Now iam Searching for a Job, I Know it wont sound good to the employers, if i state that i have studied for exams but the result is Fail in that 16 months period.

My query is : How can i account this gap of 16 months period in my resume to get a better job offers?

Should i get some dummy experience certificate to fill this gap? if so what are its complications in future?

Thanks in advance for ur replies

are you still going to take exams?

If yes- then dont think about anything else for the while.

If no- then find better ways to cover your difference  rather then some dummy certificate which is not hard to be getting followed up and blowing up on your face later.
