Future of SAP ?

Dear Rahul 

First understand what profile they are offering you to work on. That important. As a finance professional you just need to have sound understanding of concepts, ability to apply them in diverse business situations, good communication skill and yes confidence.  If profile sounds exciting go for it, learn and then move to greener pastures !

All ERP have more or less same features and if you can understand the nittty gritty of one other should not be trouble to you while working.

In SAP field, the package may be less at entery level  but as your  friend said the future of SAP is brighter. But for that you should have a sound knowledge on SAP. Even after, there is need of SAP cerfification which most of the SAP known people prefer to earn more and for higher desigation.

Hi.. My name is Sakshi Malik. I have an experience of 5 and half years in marketing plus have worked in SAP as an end user in SD, MM and PP module. Just would like to know the current qualification for entering into SAP as a functional consultant. About my qualification is that I am B.COM + DFM (part-time) + pursuing my company secreatary. Would like to know that the qualitifiction such as Company secreatry will be useful with SAP carrer. In SAP on primary stage my module will be SD.
