One of my client is subsidy of US based MNC, the company involves various cost relating to sign boards at works place,hanging flipps etc.,
1.whether these kind of expenditures are advertisment
2.Company insisting that theses are relating to training expenses
give the clarification early please

No it is not appicablle as under sec 115WB(D) clearly says sales promotion including publicity and excluding advertisement
