Frequency of vat return under mahavat for newly dealers

Hello,

My query is that what will be the vat returns frequency of newly registered dealers in mahavat. All the dealers who are registered under the new SAP system in financial year 15-16 can not retrieve the details of frequency of vat returns from "KNOW YOUR TIN".

Thus, i want to know the frequency of vat returns of new dealers i.e. whether it will be Monthly or Quarterly?

I will be thankful for guidance provided with reference to provisions of act.
