What about narration?

What about vendor names (Is vendor considered as a ledger? or a  group?)

Can there be classifications like groups of expenses sub groups?

yes rashmi, even narration also can be entered. Dr/cr ledger means the final ledger name as created in tally under sundry drs/crs group or any sub group. I need the just ledger name exactly the same as created in tally. Also voucher number can be given if in tally automatic numbering of voucher is not selected. I am planning to start this internet based service so take my email surajit.ghosh @ yahoo.com

Here there is a sample format file attached. Send me your entries. I shall post the tally export file import it from gateway of tally>import>vouchers>file path. Happy Tallying.

Hi obeid if its for your personal use say one of your own company its free, if its for second sale to thirdparty client sharing ratio 50:50

Obeid Find herewith entry file. Open your company with cash & sales ledger.Download this file to D:\sales.xml. Now from gateway of tally >Import>Vouchers>D:\sales.xml.  now chk ur entries once the import is finish.

Hi Friend, I tried to import bulk entries from XL to Tally, but it prompts me to import only the Tally XML format, please guide me......

Open this file by notepad & save as sale.xml. Then try importing again. Ensure the company you enter must have two ledgers cash & sales & the company must be from 1.4.08. Bcoz all all the ntries are from 1.4..08-31.3.09
