formula for cost inflation index

i think there is no formula for calculating cost inflation index ... u have to grab all these rates .......

What is the need for studying all?Normally the examiner gives the same.

Just study the current year's rate-Divide current years rate by Earlier year rate and multiply the same with the given amount.

You don't need to mug it up ajay.

As Varun said, just remember current year's C.I.I., rest will be provided to you.
