Dear friend
There is not seperate format in excel. Most of the accounting packages can be converted/exported in excel viz., BRS,Drs ledger,Crs Ledget,Statement of A/c or so. After export/transfered in to the form of Excel copy the original in another sheet for reconcilation. This is becoz any mistake happened in the middle you need not do the whole exercise once again you can simply delete the sheet and copy the original inthe another sheet. Add one colum at the end of the debit,credit column & name it as Tag. Whereever the Debit & Credit matches in the Tag column just mention as C1,C2 and so on. Sot it tag wise viz., c1,c2 & so on . At the end of this exercise you will get unmatched blank tags which has to be concentratged/looked in to for reconciliation. If you keep on doing this you will become expert in this. All the best.

Less : Cheques Deposited but not credited by bank Rs. xxxx
Add : Cheques issued for payment but not presented
by supplier or debited by bank Rs. xxxx
Balance as per bank book Rs. xxxx
the above is applicable only if our balance is debit i.e. positive, if it is negative
Balance as per our book Rs. xxxx
Add : Cheques Deposited but not credited by bank Rs. xxxx
Less : Cheques issued for payment but not presented
by supplier or debited by bank Rs. xxxx
Balance as per bank book Rs. xxxx
