Presently it is seen that after submission of ITR1, Form V/acknowledgement full page is not coming as receipt, only the verification portion is coming as receipt instead of the full page Form V,
Don't know why.
Sending your ITR-V by post is the offline method of verifying your ITR. As you know, the process of filing your return is not complete unless your return is verified, hence, once you verify it, your return is processed and filed. You can download your ITR-V form from the income tax e-filing portal
