Form fte for fast track exit

A Company was incorporated on 08.02.2010. It filed its particulars with MCA for the year ending 31.03.2011 with the ABC & Co. as Statutory Auditors. After that nothing is filed with MCA.

Now today the Company wants to stike off its name from MCA and hence wants to go for FAST TRACK EXIT MODE. the company approaches XYZ & Co. (CA) for this work.

Now My question is whether XYZ & Co. can do this work? Whether XYZ can fill the Form FTE and sign the same?

or first xyz has to appoint itself as statutory auditors?
