want to know how to get benefit from form C.
Purchase from within UP form 38 and form c are required or not for reselling purpose.

C Form only required when you purchase good from outside of your state (Interstate) in lower rate of CST @ 2%, if u will puchase anything within the state or outside of state with full rate of CST, 'C' Form not required.

by paying local tax . Only a dealer can issue or receive Form C

If you buy within the state, you have to buy under State VAT rate. If you buy from outside the state for your manufacturing purpose of re-selling , you have to buy under Form C @ 2% CST. The products you are buying from outside the state should mention in your Registration Certificate. The Products not covered under registration Certificate, can't buy under C Form

The benefit of "Form C" is the rate of Sales Tax is at the Consessional Rate of 2% or the Local Rate Whichever is Lower When Purchase from Outside State

We are planning to buy visicooler from out of delhi , as we are dealig in lequor trading in delhi under vat registration , can we get form "C" benefit as we buy visicooler for company assets itself .

If you are only a dealer under VAT/CST registration, you can buy only those goods for re-selling under C Form. Manufacturer can buy Raw Material , Packing Material, Machinery and Parts thereof and fuel under C Form.

If the rate on Inter state purchase of goods is less than 2%, then still i will be requiring to issue C Form?
