If the form is issued online, please check the same online on the govt. tax website to get exact details.

Nowadays, people give breakups of Basic, Excise and CST.

If CST amount is not there, then you have to pay from your pocket.

Excise duty- Tax on the production of goods in india by state gov. CST- Central Sales Tax on the sell of goods within the states of India

C form should reflected the total value of Basic+excise+CST somewhere otherwise you are in difficulty.

Dear AK Sir, This form was i received on our customer, i was asked it not inculding CST tax Amount on FORM C. They was answer me our consulantcy is issue Form C only purchase amount before tax ( inculding ED) Please tell me this form we accept it ya return to customer for rectification

Dear Bhakti Ji, It depends on the Sales tax officer who will assess your file later. Ask him if the same is acceptable otherwise most probably you have to return it for rectification.Ask them to mention the GTO amount to be on safe side.

Dear Bhakti,

Some state government accepts such C forms, which do not mention the CST amount.. Like delhi, maharashtra, gujarat, haryana, etc.., such VAT department do accept your C FORMS even if they are issued with taxable amount and not the gross amount.
