Form 7 for DPIN - Is there a need to submit physical docs?

Hi Everyone,

I was going thru the instructions for filling/submitting Form 7 to get DPIN.

It seemed to me that it is not necessary to send physical documents (Form 7 & other supporting docs) to LLP Cell of MCA. Looks like everything needs to be submitted ONLY on-line. Is this true?

Manish

Dear Manish,

After obtaining provisional DPIN, the applicant is required to submit an application to the Cent. Govt. along with the fees for the allotment of regular DPIN within a period of 60 days from the date on which proviisonal d=DPIN was generated online, failing which provisional DPIN shall lapse.

For making an application, the applicant shall take printout of form 7, affix his photograph in the space provided, enclose certified true copy of proof of identity and residence and physically sign the form at the place provided.

The photograph, proof of identity and residence is required to be attested by any of Gazetted officer or Notary public or CA, CS, ICWA in practice.

Thanks Ankur.

Its my pleasure....  and you are always welcome...

Hi Ankur,

I had raised same query with LLP cell in MCA & they have confirmed that there is NO need to submity any hard copy of any docs. Everything (Form 7 & all supporting docs) need to be submitted just on-line & that'S it. So, absolutely no physcial docs to be sent for getting DPIN.

I talked to LLP help desk & they told me that apparently this is a recent change.

Dear Friends,

I have recently incorporated a LLP. There is no requirement of physical filing of Form-7. Now Form-7 is required to be digitally signed. Therefore every Designated Partner is required to have DSC. Photograph and documents duly attested by a professional are filed as attachments to this form.
