Form 24Q query

Dear Experts

If an employee's total salary for FY 2025-26 is ten lakh, TDS is not required under new regime.

Should the payments be reported in quarterly 24Q though there is no TDS. I have seen different employer companies have dissimilar policies - some show ; some not.

Legally, what is the correct approach?

So legally, the correct approach is :

If you have paid salaries, file Form 24Q quarterly.

Indicate "nil" TDS if no tax was deducted.

Different companies might have varying practices, but based on the tax rules, reporting in Form 24Q is required for salary payments , even with no TDS.
