Dear professionals,
I want to know what is the effective date in case of change of registered office within a city:
1. Date of BM: February 20, 2013.
2. In a BM it is resolved that w.e.f 1st March, 2013 the RO will be change.
3. Date of Approval of Form 18 i.e. 18th March, 2013.

According to me, the effective date of change will be 01/03/13 since the registered office has already changed on this date

As per my knowledge, I think there is no relevance of the date of approval of From 18 in case of change of RO.

yes...as you rightly said, RoC approval is only a formality of informing the RoC about the change...
it does not affect the effectiveness of the change..
