Form 16 issue

Get Revised form 16 after getting the TDS return rectification from the employer.

Thanks for your response.I am trying to get that from my employer but they are suggesting that they would issue a form 16 next year(Jul'20) and would mention in that recovery amount as a tax rebate since recovery was done in this financial year(Jul'19).

To an extent they are correct. If you are going to get benefit in current financial year, you will not be at any loss.

Now they say they cannot issue Form 16 in Jul'20 as i quit the organization in Mar'19.As there is no income in Fy'20 form 16 cannot be issued.How do i get refund for the excess tax paid due to salary recovery that happened this Jul'19.

Unless for 16 is rectified, you cannot get difference amount from CPC.

I have been trying to get the revised form 16 from them.They keep telling me since salary recovery happened  in Jul'19 form 16 cannot be revised as form 16 was generated for income received till Mar'19.Do employers revise form 16?Will they do it for a single employee? 

Employer can revise TDS return and not form 16, it is required to be downloaded from TRACES site.
