Quick Summary
Form 121 (like 15G/15H) cannot be filed for a deceased person. The legal heir must update records with banks and manage tax in their capacity. Any TDS deducted can be claimed as a refund via ITR of the legal heir.

Form 15G/15H-type declaration for non-deduction cannot be furnished in the name of a deceased person. After death, the wife/legal heir should first get the bank records updated as legal heir/nominee or estate holder. Thereafter, tax treatment will depend on in whose hands the income is assessable. If TDS is deducted meanwhile, refund may be claimed through the appropriate return filed by the legal representative/legal heir, as applicable.

Thanks Sir for you valueable input
