ICAI introduced Form 120, in which every article has to give reason of their termination. Such form has to be submit by article to their principal and send one copy of it to Secretary as a request for termination. Attached Form 120.

I am a 1st year article and i want to take transfer on ground of medical issues of my mom.
But my principal is not signing my form.
How can i deal with this situation.
you need to convince him.
write a letter and state the same icai will take some action however don't go for the same if the same can be sorted out by convince him

Rule 56(1) is creats a confusion. Once side article students have right to transfer in first year without any restriction and other side have a requirement of principal signature. This is totally in favour of only principal not a article.rules made but students have a not avail the right regarding first year of articleship. This is not justifiable for article students. There are many students who are take transfer but principal not sign.icai have change this rule.
Form 120 Is also a one type of only members support. Students does not have any right.restriction of 120 is a within 50km of there principal office do not rejoin the articleship. This is not support for students. Icai only support member.
But sir form 120 is create a restriction within 50 km of area do not join the articleship. This like a one type a punishment for article students.
Where Form 120 is last hope for a article for his future, for his dreams ICAI gives only 15days from the date of intimation to Principal. If Article fails to file it within 15days no option left for transfer........
