I've received Rs 3,75,000/- as Salary arrears for FY 2010-11, 2011-12 & 2012-13.

I sent my Form 10E to my Employeer but it has been returned to me with Reamrk " TO BE SUBMITTED TO IT DEPT".

I've been e-filing my returns,

Please advise as how to submit Form 10E electronically to get the TDS/Tax refund.

Form 10E cannot be submitted electronically as e-filing is done only in the form of XML but form 10E cannot be converted in that. After e-filing when the department send your details to your juridictional AO, you can then submit him your Form 10E.

If you are e-filing simply calculate the rebate amount and put the same in the column Sl. No.11 of the first sheet. That's all. I filed like this to many central govt. employees who got arrears - Vi pay commission and have been doing whenever they get MACP arrears.

So no need to worry. fill in the respective column. and file.

Dear All, Above Q&A are 2 years old. Online filing may not be available at that time. Now you can submit scanned copy of form 10E. Login to your account with incometaxindia. Click on 'e-file' dropdown menu on top left side. There you will get option 'Prepare and submit online form (other than ITR). Click on this and follow the instructions.
