I am having 12AA and 80G certificate. And submitted form 10A one month back. Now i received form 10AC from depatement, which is provisional certificate from 5years. My question is, is it equivalent of 80G OR is there any other certificate forn80G? Becaise in Form 10AC Point number 10 e sayng doesnt automatically confer anynright on the donors to claim deduction nder 80G
Please help me to understand
A non-profit organization or non-governmental organization (NGO), a charitable trust or a Section 8 Company, can apply for 80G registration as well as obtain certification under section 12A. Both certifications can be applied together or it can also be done separately also.
1[FORM NO. 10AC (See rule 2C or 11AA or 17A) Order for registration or provisional registration or approval or provisional approval.

The Form 10 AC that you have received is provisional. You have to re-apply to obtain the final Form 10 AC within 6 months of the commencement of trust activities. You will have to visit the commissioner (IT Exemption) and satisfy him that the activities have commenced, then only he will give the registration.
Same for 80 G. You have to apply two times. One for 12A & One for 80G.
