no not at all its just a formality..................

In form 108 account number is required...

I think it is only a formality...

That has to be filled only if your principal makes direct deposit in account. They may ask for proof of payment of stipend in case of random check and/ or disputes, etc. They cannot verify each and every articles' details, but you can be selected in random sampling so put correct details.

direct deposit matlab check payment?

No, direct deposit shall be in cases where your principal instructs his bank to transfer the money to your account directly or, he himself deposits into your account.

matlab mere case me bank details bharna nahi parega rt? because he gives me cheques p.m. where my name is written only and the words account payee is written in betwn d parallel lines. do answer.

Yes, you're right. You can see yourself there's a slash between two statements.

In form 108 i tick on stipend being paid  by crossed cheques and delete deposited by principle and i wrote my a/c no in bank details. Will it be ok?

i think ki - Account number is cumpulsory

agar aap nahi bharoge to shayad kuchh Objection kar sakte hain ICAI waale

so according to my opinion u should have to mention it..............

There are 2 statements/ situations:

1. You are getting paid vide account payee cheques.

2. You are getting paid by direct deposit into your account.

If your CA has not signed yet, you can replace first page or first and second page (if printed on both-sides).

If he has, if possible you can ask him to sign again.. ;)

Or, you can strikethrough the second part completely including your account number.

or, you can leave it like that, shouldn't be much of a issue.

However, you can get a confirmed answer from e-sahayata:

Thanx for reply..but the problem is my CA has signed the form and i submitted it to d institute on 9th may.I agree with what manjul has said thats why i put my account no in it.I know the english would be wrong. My CA scared me when he says institute will sent letter to him asking about bank details, that how did he(my CA) know where d article is putting his stipend into.

I did my regular articleship with honesty and sincerity, now i m fearing whether the institute will send me training certificate letter.

If the trainee is eating up the cheques after the CA has given it to him, what can he do? He cannot force him to submit the stipend cheque.. lol. He must have got his sign somewhere for the receipt of it.

If the instt. asks for any detail, you can always provide it, as you are genuine.

It is not a big deal, don't worry.. You'll get the certificate. Anyhow what can you do now?? (joking)..

Keep checking your status online here:

copy the above url, paste it in url field and replace 012345 with your principal's membership number and hit enter.

You should be soon under "Student Terminated / Completed Article / Audit Training Details".
