Forgot to Report Invoice in September 2020

Hi there!

I was reconciling my GST returns again for 2019-20 and found that I had missed certain invoices that had to be rectified. Because of this I have not passed on credit of Rs. 15000 but have paid the same to the department.

Now as the return for September 2020 has been filed, what is the best way by which I can amend my invoice/provide credit to the party.

I tried using the Amendment option in the GST Return for December 2020 and there I was able to amend the invoice. Would this help in passing on the credit?

Quick Summary
A user missed reporting certain invoices in September 2020, resulting in paying GST on credit they hadn't passed on. They've since filed their December 2020 GST return and are seeking the best method to amend the invoice or provide credit to the party. Unfortunately, it appears direct invoice amendment might not be possible after filing, and the deadline for claiming Input Tax Credit (ITC) for the 2019-20 financial year has passed, potentially meaning a loss for the buyer.

No...

You can not amend the invoice

So what is the way out now? How do I give the party the credit?

Not claimed ITC , due date for claiming ITC for the F .Y 2019-2020 is passed, so it's the loss to the buyer!
No option.....
