Hi All,
Does the Foreign Pension Income received in INdia taxable in India even if the tax has been deducted by the Foreign nation from where the pension is remitted?
Also, if taxable in India, I think the assessee can take credit for the tax paid in Foreign Country right? This is in respect of Pension scheme income from Canada.
Let me know whether I am right on my thought process - Thanks

Taxes paid in Canada can be claimed as credit in India (Section 90 r.w. DTAA with Canada Article 23(3)(a)
