For new service tax registration

Pl. go to www.aces.gov.in. Click Service tax icon. Username / passwd window appears. Underneath that there is 'Know your location' icon. Click that. Go to Delhi icon. Based on the location of Libaspur, you can locate the ST Divn.

For other area you need to where that particular area falls i.e., under which District... then you can locate the corresponding ST Divn.

but my maine problen is that i m not enable to allocate the exact location of area with the direction provided in www.aces.gov.in.

so any other easy mode which i get the exact division.

Then you may have to contact the Dept. officials at the contact nos. provided under the ST Dinvs. (in www.aces.gov.in)  for exact location code.

dear all,

i want to take service tax registration  as service recepient  under the service tax category service of  transportation of goods by road, but in the the ST-1 application being filled online, service category still shows "other than negative list" instead of specific category (120accounting codes) inspite of the fact that st-1 has been amended on 30.11.2012 ( old accounting codes restored by circular dt. 30.11.2012).

what should i do?
