my date of birth is 05/07/1946 as per govt annoucement senior citizen above 75 years have opption of not filling income tax return. wheather i have to file or not income tax return.
Senior citizen have option not file IT return under section 194p of the I T Act . 1) Age above 75 years 2)One must be resident 3)You must have only pension and Intrest income from same Bank and no other Income 4) Bank must be specified Bank notified by the central government .
