The opportunities are same as any other qualified CA. Attempts are just small things. At the end of the day what matters most is your knowledge and the attitude you have. Good Luck

Attempts are not imp knowledge is important

Attempts are important to keep your interest alive in the CA course and to enter professional life early in life. However one cannot over look the core knowledge, skill, good judgement and maturity aspect that needs to come along the clearing the exams.

Yes we want to know

knowledge is must.

Attempts matters because it keeps momentum of moving forward but yes when a professional is working for around 40 years of his life then starting one year late due to lost Attempts really don't matter.

Actually one small thing ...success is the measure as decided by others ...satisfaction is the measure as decided by you ...in end its knowledge only .

Fact : Only attempt matters to get a good job.

CA freshers with Multiple failures don't even reach to the interview level.

So, it gets very difficult to show the knowledge without the interview call.

 

But first attempters are given preference and are assumed to be the cream of the profession.

Interestingly majority of 1st attempters are dummy articles. But they cleared the exams in one go. Still they will be preffered to any multiple attempter with real knowledge.

 

The resumes of multiple attempter goes directly to the dustbin.

 

Hard Truth to swallow !

 

Corporates go for shopping through Campus Placements and only CA with age, what 22, with 1st attempt badge is seen with respect.

 

All these lovely stories that " Knowledge matters " are only theoritical, abstract ideas.

 

My question is that why Big Practicing CA prefer their kids to go for dummy ?? Answer is that its Attempt that counts.

Attempts matters for some companies,some not.I think ARTICLESHIP matters MOST ,one of my cousin who cleared final in 3rd attempt got 9 lakh package in recent campus placements as he has done articleship from E&Y  

 

Frankly speaking, attempts do matter but its not just attempts that can fetch you good jobs.After becoming a CA though how many attempts you have taken its the attitude towards work that will matter. Though being a very bright student in my school days, scoring 84% in 10th and 82% in 12th, it took me 3 attempts to clear ipcc and 4 attempts to clear final. But within a month of clearing my final examination i prepared a decent resume and posted for jobs online thinking that i wont get a job and was prepared to go to australia for cpa and was looking for ielts classes also. After a few weeks i got an interview call with vodafone shared services ltd, Ahmedabad and i cleared the interview with the starting salary of 4.25 P.A which was decent enough as compared to my CA profile. So please dont keep any myth about CA, its the most prestigious course in worldwide and it will fetch you returns and respect in every stage of life. So not thinking about anything else just concentrate on clearing and becoming a CA and things will fall in place automatically.
