Find the correct boxes

you have three boxe's named each as APPLE ORANGE and MIXED.

the word mixed indicates both apple and orange..

all the three contain fruit's but the thing is it's sure that none are in correct boxe's...i.e acording to their name.

now you are allowed to chose only one fruit from any one of the box and you have to name all three boxe's correctly.....

how could u do that?

Answer: 12

First we will select a fruit from box naming "Mixed Fruits ".

If it comes out orange it means there are  apples  in the box  naming "Orange" and mixed fruits  in the box  naming "Apples".

and if it comes out Apple it means there are  Oranges  in box  naming "Apple" and mixed fruits  in the box  naming "Orange".

U r 100% right . Gr8 done.

what if the fruit is from the box of "Mixed"?

i think either Ques(asked by Mr. Prakash) or its Answer (given bty me) not clear to u. The Box naming Mixed Fruit will never contain the mixed fruits as given in d ques(all the three contain fruit's but the thing is it's sure that none are in correct boxe's...i.e acording to their name). definitely it will contain either orange or apple. and in my earlier reply i hv explained it clearly.

Dear Rajesh, Let me know whether i m right or not for my answer(12) to ur ques(How many three cent stamps are in a dozen?).
