Does MP Vijaya Kumar Sir Book on FR and Accounting Standards comes with explanation and whether it is Useful for Self Study. Could someone give me an Idea pls. Anyhow will refer PM for exams.

Don't know much. But heqrd it's one of the book for self study.
yes, it is the most popular book among ca students... the fr text book is good for self study... for AS part, d s rawats book is most gone after because mpvs book on AS is not user friendly for students..but it is also good from exam point of view..
Yes, I've studied from MP Vijay Kumar's Book only. It is one of the Best books for Self Study.
