i want to file my return u/s 44AD by ITR 4S but i m having income from mutual Fund of Rs. 25000 which is exempt. can i file ITR 4S.

An individual deriving business income u/s 44AD cannot file SUGAM (ITR-4S), if there is exempted income > Rs. 5,000 [Rule 12(1)(ca) of the Income-tax Rules].

You have to file itr-4
You have to file ITR 4 which allows to mention income unser section 44 AD.
